Gospel of Mark 11

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Spiritual insight: This verse reveals the power of faith in prayer. Jesus is not just encouraging people to pray, but to pray believing – believing that what they ask for is already done. This kind of faith requires trust in God’s nature and His promises, not in visible evidence. It is a declaration of confidence in God's timing and His will. True faith is not passive; it’s active trust – the kind that thanks God before the answer arrives, knowing that He is faithful. Faith-filled prayer moves heaven and opens the door for miracles.
