Proverbs 29
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. Meaning: The fear of people—of their opinions, rejection, or power—can trap us like a snare. It keeps us from doing what is right, speaking truth, or living freely. But when we place our trust in the Lord, we are given a kind of protection that transcends human threats. God becomes our shield. Trust in Him brings freedom from fear, and anchors our identity in something greater than human approval.
