Hebrews 5
During the days of his life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. (Hebrews 5:7, NIV) This verse means: Jesus, in his full humanity, cried out to God. His obedience became the path of our salvation. Gospel message: God hears the brokenhearted. If we trust in Jesus and submit to God’s will, we too receive salvation and eternal life.
